Robin Pearson is one of our Senior Contributors at the magazine and one hell of a photographer also. We caught up with Robin recently for a Staff Bike Check and a few words about his setup and some upcoming projects he’s working on.

“I love my bike at the moment. It’s long, stable and feels good going fast. My favourite part would have to be the tyres – Primo Dirt Monster and V-Monster. The classic combo. When I started riding BMX about 12 years ago, that was always the combo to have so I’m stoked to be back on these tyres! I have to thank
Proper Bike Co and
Premier Store in the UK and
Full Factory in the US for my current set up.”
“This photo was taken yesterday at the
House of Vans with
Jamie Skinner on the trigger. Doing a tyreslide over the door was pretty intimidating – the pool coping doesn’t really have a deck… I definitely touched the wall a couple of times.
We were in there on a private session shooting photos for BMX Basics. It was the first time bike riders have been in there and I was lucky enough to be the first one to drop in.”
“I’m filming for a DVD at the moment about my local scene where I grew up. Fleet Fleet Fleet is where it’s at. Some clips from this House of Vans session will probably end up in the DVD. “
