This is pretty awesome! Matt Coplon brings you a new video entitled: ‘The Switch is Down’ – Personally I think it’s awesome that a TM for one of the biggest parts companies around can take the time out, film a little bit and just enjoy riding his bike. We all enjoy getting clips of ourselves I’m sure, but when you’re the filmer or a TM who’s gonna film you? Personally I have this problem all the time with my own little side project so I can totally sympathise with Matt on this one. (I might even start taking a tripod about myself to film some bits) – I thought this edit has a great oldschool feel to it, not sure whether it’s the music choice or a few of the tricks you don’t see much these days, but I really enjoyed this fun edit!
Here’s a few words from Matt about the video:
“It’s been 13 years that I’ve had the honor of being TM for Profile’s freestyle team.
Over the past four months, between attending weekend events.
In between getting behind the lens to shoot pics, to film our riders.
In the down time after I’ve handled the things that make my job incredibly enjoyable, I set up the tripod or used my camera bag as prop (for the most part), and captured some jibs. Some while on the road with the crew, others after work or on our coveted sundays of all day sessioning in Tampa.
Nothing groundbreaking… just having fun pedaling.
Enjoy, and thanks for supporting Profile Racing over the years.”
–Subsequent filming by Grant Castelluzzo, Steve Caro, David Gibson, Kent Pearson, Scott Ehlert and Zachery Rogers.
