If you were around during the Mid School era you’ll remember the name T-1, even younger riders are doing their homework these days and learning what Joe Rich, Taj & the team achieved with this legendary company many years ago. Even our man Cleggy was obsessed with T-1 and was hooked up by them years ago for his beasty inverts (and other various manoeuvres I’m sure! haha) – Nate Wessel was one of my favorite riders back then also, I remember him for sending huge burly gaps and transfers which shouldn’t be possible and bangin’ em out like it was nothing. This edit was one of Nate’s last, he put this together back in 2003 before breaking his leg and focusing more on the ramp building side of things for Wesselbuilt. I guess he thought it was about time to give it a re-up. Really enjoyed this bit of nostalgia, sure you guys will too!
“This was one of the last BMX edits I ever put together i think in 2003 a few days before i broke my leg on the T-1 tour and flew home to have emergency surgery. I have not looked at the video since it was made. This footage was edited to a Sense field song “fun never ends” the singer Jon Bunch of Sense Field passed away on Feb. 2nd 2016 so i post this in tribute to Jon Bunch and family for the inspiration that he has given to so many people. Thanks to everyone that also made this tour happen and the life long memories. Thanks to Etnies, FOX racing , Terrible One , Taj Mihelich, Joe Rich, Garrett Byrnes, Ruben Alcantara, John Povah, Big Island, David Quesada, and all of the amazing friends and family we met and stayed with throughout this tour. ”
