ROLL ON: Analogue Photo Journal – Vol II

Photos and words by Scott Connor

It’s been a busy month. Summer brings the height of the BMX competition season. So with that comes the chance to get out and about, visit places and see people. From Brighton to London and Liverpool to Latvia with many familiar faces. All shot with my Olympus OM-4 35mm.

For more film goodness, check out VOL I of this feature.

Sainsburys in Brighton. There have been many notable bmx clips filmed around the development that houses this supermarket. However this particular spot was a temporary pop-up feature. It's a big pole and steep as hell. No worries though, here comes Martin Grainger with the one-bang.
Again, Sainsburys have provided. This bench to bin setup was made to be. Steezy bin tuck from Martin Grainger.
Jordan Aleppo, the handsome bastard. I shot this in his home town of Bexhill, between shooting a profile piece in the run-up to the Vans illustrated premier.
Martin foot jamming a fun little spot in central London.
Chase Dehart, Jay Bean & Benny L. All cheesin' hard for the obligatory media pose at The Street Series in Liverpool for BMX day 2016.
Chase giving an impromptu "how-to" hop whip at an iconic Liverpool spot.
I didn't catch this guys name. So I've tagged him as the Liverpool bleeder. His axle snapped while gapping to flat and he bit halfway through his tongue and all the way through his lip. He took it without flinching tho.
Tariq took the win at The Street Series in Liverpool. Gap to wall. I shot this with a video camera in my left and 35mm slr in my right hand.
Callum Earnshaw, Jordan Godwin, Dillon Lloyd & Jack Clark queing to buy "another fucking burger" in Ventspils after the Latvain Ghetto Games.
These concrete waves were one of the few spots we could find to ride in Ventspils, Latvia. Dillion & Jordan running a train.

Stay tuned for Vol III, coming next week.
