Q&A with Callum Rafferty

– What’s been happening recently, seem to be killing it at the minute, you been riding a lot?

Haha thank you, I’m currently on furlough so I’m living the life of riding whenever I want.  My mind is in a very good place at the moment too!  Been having lots of good sessions with the boys and it’s just been pushing me even more to learn lots of new tricks!

– What’s it like running one of your best mates sig frames?

Ahh it’s amazing, the fact that our riding style is the same means I can support him with all the products he brings out!  Nothing better than being able to support your mates.

– Tell us about the pizza cutters (skinny tyres.) What’s the deal with those?

Hahahaha the pizza cutters!  I’ve always run really thin tyres but with these new Alienation rims it makes them look even skinnier.  I like them just as it makes my bike more twitchy and gives it less rotational weight for tricks.

– What’s your fav bit on your bike?

For me has to be my wheels the way it makes me bike feel it’s unreal!

– Any mods or is it all standard?

All standard, not made any mods to my bike!

– Where have the pegs gone? How come you took them off? You were getting so good on them.

Pegs are only off until Tall Order get some more hub guards back in stock!  Time I was running pegs was when I was waiting for my new wheels to be built.  So I had hub guard already on it.

– You got any trips or comps planned?

I know Bas has got some stuff planned in the UK with the Tall Order boys which I’m buzzing for!  Then comps wise I think I may have NASS this year and then I’m not sure about the rest.

– Any shoutouts or any words of wisdom?

Shout out to Bas Keep (Tall Order) and Mat Reader (TLC Bikes) for the constant support through BMX.  Shoutout to all the lads I ride with all the time for the good times and finally shout out to my friends and family for everything they have helped me with ❤️
