The Vans Rebeljam will land in Spain from the 5th to 7th October 2012, after past stops in Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands. Riders from all over the world are expected to make the trek to Eurocamp in Tossa de Mar, Spain to progress BMX riding while competing for a total prize purse of 20,000 Euro.

For the first time in Vans Rebeljam history 4 BMX disciplines will be held: Dirt, Park, Street and also Flatland, which is back on the program after its success in Eindhoven in 2011. “By riders, for riders” is the motto of the Vans Rebeljam, which extends to all aspects of the event, including contributing to the health of the local scene. Axel Jurgens’ spectacular ramp facility at Eurocamp will receive an overhaul for the event and the new features will become a regular part of the facility for riders in the community to enjoy.

“The event is open for pro riders only, but there is no special invite needed,” says organiser Andy Zeiss. “Moving the event to Spain for 2012 at Axel’s amazing park we’re expecting a good turn-out. It’s just an hour north of Barcelona and has a private beach. We’re ready for some good times.”

With plenty of camping and hotel facilities walking distance to the ramps and the beach just 300 meters away, the venue is perfect.
