Last night at some shitty night club in Hull, somewhere between four and six bouncers jumped Mike Hoder for no apparent reason, punched him, choked him, and dragged him out of the club by his neck. It was pretty brutal, and believe it or not, seemingly unprovoked. Really it seemed like they saw Hoder as a threat (duh) so they took him out. I shot some photos of the whole affair, which weren’t even that special, and three of the same bouncers tried to intimidate me into deleting them before they’d let me leave the club. After much persistence I made out with the photos. You really shouldn’t go to The Welly; it’s horrible, and you might get beat up by the door staff for no reason.

We were off to a slow start today after last night’s festivities, but we spent a few hours at a fun DIY concrete spot outside Hull that the locals were kind enough to share with us. From there it was a few hours in the van up to Edinburgh, where we’re staying the night and hoping for the best with tomorrow’s weather. Last I checked it was looking pretty grim, but only time will tell.
