We’re stoked to announce the beginning of the Ride UK Shop Sessions project in partnership with GoPro.

Over the coming weeks, 9 UK BMX shops, which have been chosen at random, will take part and show their individual scenes through the riders on their team and their local riding community. The UK shops form the heart and soul of many BMX scenes up and down the country, this is a chance for these scenes to show their personality and collective BMX ability.

Later this week we will announce the 9 stores taking part and then put them into 3 groups of 3. Each shop will be armed with a brand new GoPro Hero4 Session camera and given a week to gather clips using the equipment. We will release the clips on the Ride UK Facebook page every day over a 3-week period. The intention of these clips is to produce shares and essentially views for the stores. Content is key at this stage and the stores will be aiming to create footage that will see their clips go viral. This is where creativity, riding skill and a bit of humour will undoubtedly reign supreme.

This is also where YOU come in; it’s essential for you to support your local or favourite stores and riders by sharing their content and clocking up view counts. The shop with the most accumulated views of their daily clips at the end of their week will go through to the final. Your help is KEY!

The 3 stores that reach the final will then need to produce a 2-3 minute edit, that will once again go head-to-head to gain the all-important views across Facebook. So, Get sharing and Get viewing and help your favourite BMX shop be crowned as the Shop Session champions 2015.
