Two or three years a go Props Visual and leastmost.com teamed up to get Joe Rich’s amazing and now legendary interview up from issue 34 November/December 1999.
It’s legendary for many reasons (and I don’t use that term lightly), mainly because Joe and Taj are the biggest thing in BMX at this point, Joe speaks with honesty and sense, literally inspiring a generation of would be DIY BMX kids to do their own thing and follow their dreams. We get a glimpse of the early days of TerribleOne and it’s mashed together with the sound of the times Hot Water Music.
We get so many letters asking us about sponsorships. No doubt many reading this are gagging to be supported by any company or brand that’ll throw produce your way and give you that sense of worth and kudos. Well… Listen to what Joe has to say on the subject here. BMX moves pretty fast, but this still rings true even today.
