The Colony ‘Squareback’ stem just landed in our office and looks fantastic! The Squareback name came from their love of air-cooled VW’s apparently. It’s a topload design which is CNC machined from a block of 7075-T6 aluminium for max strength. There’s been extensive internal & external machining on this baby to help save weight in areas they could afford to slim down. It’s got a sweet machined Colony logo on the faceplate, chamfered edges and strong chromoly stem bolts. The compression bolt has been recessed aswell so the top cap can sit flush and look tidy!
