Last Saturday a bunch of us hit up Unit 23 for an exclusive live feed with GT Bicycles on our Facebook page as Jason Phelan dropped a world first – a completely insane pegs to backflip barspin! See his edit above.
We can’t embed the whole feed but here’s the link. Jason was understandably nervous as we removed the airbag he’d been sessioning. Time and again he nailed it into that thing and when the moment came to do it live it was tense. He nailed a bunch of flips out of the rail into the landing he’d made earlier and only once jumped off before pulling the backflip barspin.
