FRIDAY RANDOMS: Who Wants To Buy A Skatepark?

Most of us BMXers have had the same reoccurring dream of owning our own personal skatepark, I’m pretty sure I’m not just speaking for myself here… I mean how sick would it be? You could wake up every single day and have a quick session before school/work, invite the boys round for a few beers and hit the ramps. Imagine the possibilities!

The thought of having my own personal park got me daydreaming about it, so I decided to have a bit of a look around and put together my top 3 parks which are currently up for sale in the UK. Which all happen to be on eBay…

So yeah, if happen to have a rich grandparent/family member who may fancy treating you this Christmas, then I’d get get on the graft right away! Start washing dishes, clearing gutters, cutting the lawn, putting the bins out. Do whatever it takes man! It will all be worth it when you consider what could be yours below.

#1 – Newquay Skatepark.

Newquay Skatepark

I couldn’t believe it when I came across this one on eBay. But the owners of Newquay have decided that it’s time to revamp the place and they’re taking all of the wooden ramps out, and replacing them with a longer-lasting concrete alternative! This means the wood is up for grabs, and on the ‘bay at a fairly cheap starting bid. Get in there quick if you’ve got a bit of spare cash laying around (and the space to build of course!)

#2 – Mobile Skatepark, Ramps & Trailer.

Mobile Ramps & Trailer

Fancy setting your own business up? This is basically an ideal starter-kit I found on eBay – If you fancy taking on a bit of business venture doing events/demos then this may be right up your street. Alternatively you could buy the lot, sleep in the trailer and take your ramps on a mega-road trip! The choice is yours…

#3 Indoor Skatepark – Spine, Box & Quarters.

Spine, Box & Quarters

Another absolute gem. This would probably fit in a decent-sized garage and makes fantastic use of such a small space. A spined mini with more than enough room to bang a wallride out, and a jumpbox alongside the spine? Sorted.
