After the sad news of Dane Searls passing away, we decided to pay tribute to one of the biggest hitters out there with this selection of ‘big jumps’ videos.

Remember back to when you were a kid, building your first ramp outside the front of your house out of those scrap bits of wood or hitting a double down the local track… Some of those kids grew out of it after the first day and some carried on and ended up like me and you. Further up the spectrum, you have these guys. A handful of people that just want to go bigger and bigger and won’t take no for an answer…

I think it’s safe to say that Evel Knievel was one of the first of those handful of guys who just wanted to feel as much air time as possible. Here’s his first ever jump.
