United Bike Co Supreme Hub Sound a BMX video by Ride UK BMX

United have released their new Supreme hub, apparently hundreds of people were asking them to film the wheel spinning so they can listen to how loud it is, they did and posted it on their Instagram! Kids wanting a loud cassette hub is nothing new, I’ve known riders dismantle a hub and remove it’s grease just so it clicks louder. It seems completely insane, but then what do I know, I had dreads in the late 90’s.

The United crew went back out and filmed the wheel again so I could put the sound of an Audi R8 V10 engine behind it and really get them excited. It was a laugh, and without doubt many thought it was legit.

Last week we asked you guys via Facebook what you thought about loud hubs and in particular people modding them to up the decibels.

What’s the deal with people wanting loud hubs? Please explain…
