Last month Joe Jarvis and the Dam Good Coffee Shop crew hit Stanley Park in Blackpool for the first Dam Good BMX Jam.

“We put this on after going to backyard jams and seeing how fucking fun bmx is when everyone’s together” -Joe Jarvis

Here’s what Joe had to say about it…

“This whole thing came about from us lot as a team (Stu Chisholm, Tom Russell, Emma Finno, Crazy Pete, Boss man Coyytte and myself) talking about hosting our own thing after being at backyard jam through out the year, made a group chat and Chisholm set the date, from there we all had our own inputs and got the ball rolling fast as fuck.
Everyone hit up their sponsors/supports for parts, clothes and accessories and by the end we had a whole room full of stuff so throw out.
We put this on after going to backyard jams and seeing how fucking fun bmx is when everyone’s together and mainly to give everyone a peice of the pie, every single person that showed up to watch or ride walked away with money, clothes, parts or beer haha, which for us was the best thing, it’s was proper as fuck and if you know Coyytte he does everything to the next level! He rang up his neighbours next to DAMGOOD coffee shop and they kindley funded us with over £1000 to hand out to everyone.”

The day was kinda surreal, we pulled up a lil little late because Stu was puking in weatherspoons toilets and the rest of the troops was kinda wasted downstairs at 10am but the skatepark was full and everyone was stoked, our homies at NE1 jewellery and DoomsdayCo pulled up to put stalls up too, me and Stu firmed the mic all day while everyone sent it, there was too much to take it in from it.

And lastly a big fucking shout out to all the troops that pulled up to ride or watch and made the whole thing so special
