“I got an email from someone at the council saying ‘do you want to build a skatepark in the Sainsbury’s”
I know i’m not alone in noticing how smooth the floor of supermarkets are and dreamt of riding through, well now you’ve got an even better alternative… Pitt St. is an indoor skatepark based in Portsmouth and it’s actually built in an old Sainsbury’s Supermarket, flooring and abandoned sliding doors still intact.
We headed down with Harvey Shorey, Jack Fiornzio and their gang for a evening at the park and we caught up with (Jacob) Skinner to get the low down on why and how the park came to fruition.
