So this was the second part of the tour – down the M6 stopping off at Alans BMX shop, Rampworx and Stoke-on-Trent to visit Alpha and ride the Plaza. The scene at Stoke plaza was probably one of the best yet, as a massive crowd was drawn in just to see the bowl show (and what a sight it was to watch Chase Hawk tear it to pieces). Keep checking back for updates as we’re hitting up Crucial and then London next.
So we hit up Alan’s BMX shop…
There’s a lot of bikes in here, that’s for sure!
The meeting of two BMX legends – Alan and Robbie.
Off to Rampworx now. Local shredder and Make rider, Josh Roberts, with the pegs up to hardway bars. Bad man.
Das Technique? Bruno with a crooks up 180 to oppo full cab like WOAH!
Millsy dropping another tyre based hammer.
Onwards to Alpha BMX shop today in sunny Stoke-on-Trent.
The Stoke scene is nuts, and at it’s heart is this shop. So many new faces in UK BMX; it’s brilliant to see.
Prody toss!
Cheeky! We’re at the Plaza now.
Here’s the man himself, Alpha BMX shop owner, Al Munga.
Bas Keep boosting a sweet table out of the plaza bowl. The scene here was so amazing. This pic is just the tip of the iceberg though…you’ll have to wait for the edits and the print mag to see what actually went down…
Guess who this bike belongs to… Ahhhh yeaaahhhhhh
AK was shredding the plaza all day, this little creative link was no exception.
Lacey was once again keeping everyone and everything in check via the megaphone… What a badman.
See ya next time ladies… We’re off to Crucial BMX in Bristol and then the Vans store in London.
