NASS Festival is looming with a host of international skate and BMX athletes preparing to go head to head for a £25K prize purse on the industry’s biggest and best pro course park.
BMX big dogs confirmed for 6 spots out of 50 include Logan Martin (NASS ’13 BMX champ, AUS), Greg Illingworth (RSA), Matt Priest (GBR), Tom Justice (GBR), Luke Padgett (GBR) and Todd Meyn (AUS), with the international skate comp counting Danny Leon (NASS ’13 skate champ, ESP), Dannie Carlsen (DEN), Ben Grove (GBR), Denis Lynn (GBR), Josh Young (GBR) and Kelvin Hoefler (BRA) among 50 skaters.
With the top 30 riders and skaters from NASS 2013 pre-qualified and 15 wildcard and international invites going out from sports management, NASS will additionally qualify 5 BMX riders and 5 Skaters through Maverick Industries Skatepark Jams (http://www.maverickindustries.co.uk/).
Having installed some of the best Skateparks in the UK with over 15 outdoor skate jams a year, Maverick continues to support the skate and BMX outdoor industry from grass roots. Their annual Jams are the perfect qualifiers for NASS to maintain the exceptional high standard of athletes associated with the pro comp events.
The qualifiers will take place at 5 locations around the UK; 1st place in each of the skate and BMX Over 16s competitions will qualify into the International Pro Park comp at NASS with a chance to win a slice of the £25K prize purse.
The first jam will take place at Dorchester skatepark in Weymouth on 26th April so head down to compete and for MCs, music, judges, food stalls, prizes and demos.
