Since the year is coming to an end I thought this would be the ideal time to reflect on some of the banger edits we have seen drop over the course of 2015.
These are my personal favourites, I’m sure you’ll probably agree with a few of these, possibly even disagree with one or two… But each of these edits are definitely worth watching if you haven’t seen ’em, or worth hitting up again if you’ve got a bit spare time on your hands!
Kriss Kyle‘s recent edit for Red Bull is incredible. They obviously put a lot of time, effort & money into this video and Kriss thought outside the box as always. Kaleidoscope was easily one of my favourite vids this year, and the Reader Awards ‘Edit Of The Year’ winner also! – Well done Kriss!
Talking about pushing yourself to the limits… Drew Bezanson is one crazy, crazy man. Another Red Bull production – ‘Uncontainable’ keeps you on the edge of your seat at all times and I’m sure a lot of you would have guessed this one was going to be in this article.
I’m gonna be really biased here, but who cares! Alex D is one of my favourite riders and I count him as a friend. I also own a BSD ALVX, so yeah… REALLY biased! Haha. I remember thinking how well filmed this was when the edit first dropped and how dialled in Alex’s riding had become since his last one. Such a good edit. Enjoy!
It’s fair to say this is one of the most amazing sections we’ve seen this year. More of a video section, obviously, but it was uploaded separately this year and quite clearly stands up. Amazing technical ability and absolutely massive 360s from Dan Lacey. The whole of Monster Energy‘s Above/Below is an absolute masterpiece. I first saw it at the premiere showing at The Price Charles Cinema. Totally surreal seeing a BMX video in a cinema, let alone with 100s of rowdy BMXers. Amazing!
For me, it was an absolute treat to see another Benny L section hit the internet this year. I’m probably being biased as hell here again but I don’t give a shite! Ben is a sound dude and gets shit done, constantly pushes himself and learns new mind-boggling shit that makes me want to ride every time I see his edits. His FITBIKECO. – Holy Fit section inspires me every time, enjoy!
No actual words can describe how good this edit is. All I need to say is Garrett Reynolds. If you haven’t seen this, give yourself a hard slap then hit play…
Always a pleasure to see Alex Kennedy ride and this new part was an absolute treat to watch. AK’s fresh riding combined with Rich Forne’s filmmaking meant complete shutdown of the internet when this thing dropped, this is too good!
