On the 10-12th of July this year, the BMX Brits will be back! NASS Dirt will now be a British Championship event!
The last BMX Brits was held back in 2006 at the Urban Games where Liam Eltham won. This means that Lima is 3 year reining British Champion of Dirt. (Check out that course on Pretty Shady’s website here)

Last years winner of NASS Dirt was Matt Priest, a contest newcomer. Matt won the contest and Lima came in fourth. That means that this year, the battle is on. It’s going to be a Matt Priest vs Liam Eltham showdown.

That is unless, the Forte brothers choose to enter. Kye came fourth in the Empire of Dirt last year, highest place British rider closely followed by his brother Leo. But ther are more contenders, Villj trail local and Mutiny rider Robbo has already signed up for the contest, and he’s in a league of his own.
With all that said, there is also Fit trails legend Scott Edgworth who’ll be building the course, he’s not afraid of a huge table 3. Last year Ben Hennon came out of nowhere to take 3rd place.
And then, there are the underdogs, Max Wood, Tim from Chertsey, Bob Manchester and Dan Mcgeary all have as good a chance as any of the others – But will they be there?
Something’s for sure, this is going to be one of the best trails contests that the UK has ever seen. Here is Matt with his cheque last year and Lima poking his nose in! Who’s going to get it this time? (And who’s going to be drinking the Cider!)
