BACKYARD JAM – Looking Forward, Looking Back
So, the 2019 series kicked off and there was, in fact, no looking back. There were five rounds, taking in Rush, Unit 23, Ramp 1, Asylum and Adrenaline Alley, each more exciting than the last.
We saw new names absolutely slaying those parks, established names reminding us why they’ve earned their reputations, loads of great younger riders sending it in the youth categories, and an awesome number of women entering from all around the UK. The whole series was a banger.
The organisers nailed it, and were set to nail it again in 2020 before the bombshell of COVID–19 landed. That rolled on into 2021. Now, here we are in 2022 and the hunger is more than ever for another series of Backyard Jams. We couldn’t be more keen to get out there again and see everyone. The first stop is less than a month away! If you’re thinking about getting involved, our advice is to stop thinking and just do it.
