Ok… So I know we don’t really post up much to do with BMX racing but this event is unlike any I’ve witnessed in the past! 8 riders, hitting 40ft doubles, off an 8 metre start hill, elbow to elbow usually get a bit heated and can be GREAT FUN to watch!
The 2015 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup returns to Manchester on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th of April.
The venue is going to be the National Cycling Centre as it plays host to the fastest riders from around the globe, racing in time trials and Supercross motos for a place in the coveted finals. Ticket holders can expect a weekend of adrenalin charged racing with Olympian and 2014 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup champion, Liam Phillips anticipated to lead Great Britain’s BMX team in action.
The event, which last year saw the finals unfold in front of a sold-out arena, is expecting to attract record crowds when it returns as part of UK Sport’s Gold Event Series, which aims to bring over 70 of the world’s most prestigious sporting events to the UK by 2019, backed by British Cycling and Manchester City Council.
Single-day tickets for the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup are priced from just £7. Head to Ticketmaster to book your seats right now or enter our giveaway to win your way there.
