It’s time to get your calendars marked! 22-24/05/2026 will see Butcher Jam celebrate 25 YEARS of BMX in Flensburg, Germany.
Every year crowds of spectators and riders descend upon Schlachthof Skatepark for a weekend of maddness including both Pro & AM contests in Street, Park, Mini Ramp and even Dirt, each year this event has got bigger and bigger and this year is no exception. Previous Pro rider appearances have included Kieran Reilly, Declan Brooks, George Ntavoutian, Paul Thoelen, Charlotte Worthington, Bryce Tyron, Miller Temple, Marin Rantes.
Our guy Archie Kenward has made the journey over for the past few years so we thought we’d check in with him to get the low down and some advice for anyone thinking of making the trip.
Ride: Tell me about your previous experience
Archie: I’ve been going to butcher jam 4 years in a row now, and it just seems to get better each time. With street, park and dirt events, there really is something for everyone – one of the best events of the year, and a party at the end. Can’t go wrong!
R: Whats the best bit of butcher jam?
A: my favourite part of butcher jam is probably the crowds, especially during the dirt event. Normally taking place at sundown, watching some of the best riders on the planet, with free beers and a live DJ. The energy is insane.
R: What advice would you tell people thinking about coming from the uk to the event
