The Covid-19 virus world has been cruel to event organisers.  I mean that for all kinds of events, but obviously we’re here to talk about BMX.  Most events have been cancelled this year or postponed indefinitely, FISE has gone digital this year as E-FISE, but some brave organisers are staying true and holding contests under strict rules.

Here is one such event – Dirt Wars.  Typically an MTB jump bike contest, it now includes BMX and this past weekend saw a solid group of transition riders sending all kinds of wild tricks on the wooden lips and dirt landings of Radical Bikes Bike Park in Essex.

No crowd, no mercy?  Something like that.  What the day lacked in crowd hype, it made up for in wild riding.  The guys really did send it.  Flick through the gallery below.
