So we asked a serious question the other day on our FB page (not like us) – The question was, “What is the most iconic picture in BMX for you? Vic Murphy’s 1 footed table is definitely up there with the greatest shots ever…” and we did get an overwhelming amount of responses from you guys, so much so that I’ll be doing an article pretty soon on them! So sick to see different people’s perspectives on BMX.
Anyway, amongst the comments we had this gem from Darren Simpson…
Scrolling through some comments and came across this one from Carlin O’Driscoll… As soon as I zoomed in I couldn’t help but laugh. Maybe it’s not even that funny, I dunno. I’ve got a weird sense of humor I guess! Shame about the lack of pie though… I like pie.
This one genuinely tickled me. Love a bit of dark humor and didn’t even see this coming from Harley Osborne. I can imagine that a few people me may be offended at this statement. Rape is definitely not a topic to make fun about but this was literally just a bit of harmless banter.
Anyone else notice that there is a SERIOUS lack of BMX games out there? It’s absolutely mental, you’d expect someone to have come up with a new BMX game by now for Xbox One or PS4, I mean I know of a few games being developed and there’s countless apps you can download but for now… As it stands, nothing will beat Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2. Nothing. Fair one Jordan McDonald, totally agree mate!

We shared Chicken Feed’s LOL’s ‘R’ Us vid and this comment from RV Henretty-Jornales was pretty ruthless but given the timing of the video was posted and the reputation of said brand, I couldn’t really blame him for saying that… or help but laugh!
This GIF featuring a rather unfortunate road cyclist had me buckled for a good 10 minutes when I first saw it, but the comment that followed from was harsh but so fuckin’ true. I’d do the same mate…
James Baye can see into the future and if he’s right then I think bikes will be pretty friggin’ expensive. Lol’d too hard at this one, great imagination dude pahahaha!
Also another comment on the same post made me laugh, was probably the “souls taken in part exchange” bit that got me. hahaha Jason Leverington, you ledge!

As far as back yard setups go the vid we posted is one of the best we’d seen… Until we got a photo comment from Ryan Poeppe showing us his back yard set up known as #thepinkecompound. Ok mate, you win!
Our man Cleggy wrote a brilliant piece about Harry Main‘s recent decisions and what he thought about the Direct Sales approach, if you get time then check it out, very interesting read. The comments blew up, but the two top comments are spot on!
I’m not gonna lie, I see shit-loads of these ‘inspirational’ or ‘motivational’ pictures dotted about the internet relating to BMX and most of them make me wanna puke. I love BMX but sometimes people just talk a load of bollocks on these things. This is the only one that I thought was pretty cool and very true so I posted it. Samuel‘s response was bang on too!
