“For the second chapter of Make It Happen, we ventured to the vast cities of mainland China. We started in Hong Kong and headed into the mainland by train. The crew were handpicked for their ability as hardened travellers to cope with a foreign land such as China. It was a hard but rewarding journey. By day we rode endless miles in intense heat and humidity, seeking out new and untouched spots. We made our way from to city to city like a group of heavily laden packhorses with all our bikes and luggage, all drenched in sweat. But all the blood, sweat and hospital visits were worth it, as you will see in the full video at the end of 2013.”
