Vert isn’t usually my cup of tea. I’ll be honest. I’m a street rider who hits the occasional park from time to time, but never really had the fancy (or the balls) to try riding one of these HUGE ramps myself! However… I do have a lot of respect for people who ride vert because it takes some massive nuts and skill to be able to ride a beast of a ramp like the one Haro Bikes rider: Simon Tabron is riding in this video. If you’ve never heard of Simon and ride BMX you must of been living under a rock! He has an illustrious career with so many great achievements. He is… 5 x World Vert Champion, has 10 x Games medals, 7 International X Games medals & 2 Dew Tour wins. Not too shabby eh?- I must say that I’ve seen a few aerial shots taken from a chopper in the past and wasn’t too keen on them. This has swayed my opinion totally and this video is actually very good! Bo Bridges manages to capture the essence of vert in this short video very well and has used some rather unique angles and techniques. This is a must watch for anyone who enjoys BMX. I’m sure no one will deny that this is pretty awesome!
