“What inspires me to ride? Well, I used to skate and I remember back in about 2006 I was at a mates house and we had the extreme sports channel on, watching some surfing or something. Couldn’t really get into that considering the nearest beach is 100 miles away from me. Then one of the Props Road Fools videos comes on and I thought “ey up, I’ve got one of those BMX bikes in the shed that I never ride. But this looks crazy!” So I went out and got my bike, and started hopping up curbs and stuff thinking I was like those guys on TV. And I just never stopped. Here I am 9 years later, still riding and loving it. Doing my own thing. The crew I ride with has changed a bunch over the years, in fact right now I just do my own thing on my own since they’ve started giving me the cold shoulder for no apparent reason. But right now I ride just because it’s all I’ve known for almost the last decade. I don’t care if I’m good or bad or whatever, it makes me happy so I’m gonna keep doing it and keep meeting new people to ride with and keep riding new places that I’d never have a reason to go to if it wasn’t for my bike.”
