5 THINGS: Rob Harris

17 year old Rob Harris from Cardiff is an animal on a bike. So consistent and dialled, never afraid of a rail and just on it non stop. I stopped by in Cardiff recently to shoot some pics for a bike test which Rob had kindly offered to help with. We shot this hanger on his own bike which wasn’t without issues, so I thought we’d share it with a fact or two you might not know about the pic, plus a couple of Rob facts which he may or may not want you to know courtesy of Jordan Godwin!

Rob wasn’t sure about the hanger on this particular rail as he’d never done one with a kink on the end. But being the man he is he just sent it anyway without issue. Like I said – dialled.

Having done it once he then had to do it quite a few more times. You see the camera gremlins were playing around that day, so of course everything worked fine when I tested it, but would misfire on the actual photo. So after about six goes (perfect every time I might add) I finally got a photo. One of those days…

At the age of about 15 Rob was well into trials riding. He was so good in fact that he was sponsored. Since then he’s ditched the brakes and reduced wheel size, but no doubt retained the bike control!

Although there was no explanation why, Jordan Godwin said that Rob likes Garrett Reynolds so much it’s “kinda weird”. I’m not sure if we want to know what “weird” actually means.
