Today wasn’t quite as productive for the Verde team as days past. After successfully locating and consuming a stick of rock and winning a prize from a claw machine, we begrudgingly departed from Redcar and headed back to Leeds to try and ride some street. Unfortunately, gail-force winds made riding bikes not just unpleasant, but straight-up dangerous. Nonetheless, we made the most of things — after Dave taught a girl how to bunnyhop and (collected her phone number), we sessioned a curved wallride spot for a bit before being blown clear back to the hotel. There, we set out to complete as many challenges as we could from safety of our room. Whole box of cream crackers in an hour? No problem. 100 pushups in one sitting? Not quite, but Dave is now on a strict training regiment and will have it taken care of before the end of the trip. Martin has generously purchased everyone’s drinks for the evening, and I do believe a McDonald’s run will be made before too long so Dave can start downing Big Macs. Oh, and to anyone on Twitter, I must apologize for the Verde account. Don’t worry, it’ll be all over soon.
How perfect is this?
Right?
Eat that rock
Sweet victory at the claw machine
Just what he always wanted
I think we should get bonus points because she’s barefoot and in a skirt.
Dave, curved wallride to boost
Brian ate lots of crackers tonight
Crackers. Lots and lots of crackers.
Total time for the cracker challenge.
The agony of defeat.
Thanks Martin!
