RTG – Proper Bike Co Days 4 / 5 / 6

The past few days have been pretty eventful. Following Max Woods jubilant 25 pickled egg conquest he celebrated by smashing himself on a pedal feeble down a rail, just for fun, not for points. After having his bike bounce in to his face and cutting his lip up pretty bad he then went on to conquer the rail only to smash his knee in to the ground putting him out for a day or two. He’s ok though and will be on it again tomorrow.

Joris has gone now because he had to catch a flight to Chicago, but before he went we got him to fire out the blindfolded hop whip (pulled first go!) and he nailed the Maoam rail ride to whip like a champ. Now we are in Holland, the apparent manufacturer of perfect rails, he would have been handy to fire off the rest of the rail challenges, but we’ll see what we can do between us! Upon seeing him off at the station in Paris we had a little altercation with some kind of street dwelling gentleman, I’m guessing he didnt like the sweets Jamie ‘offered’ him, or Seans polite request to leave us alone, he tried his hardest to stop us leaving, but to no avail.

Max hasn’t got round to getting his spray tan yet, but he’s on it. He’s been searching high and low for the bottled stuff but it’s proving a bit elusive.

The team were happy to be provided breakfast in the form of a healthy packed lunch style package today by me. Having been living off Mcdonalds and kebabs for the past few days it was a welcome boost of vitamins.

TM Jamie Cameron has been playing his part too on the challenge front. He’s just had ten apples for dinner, and he carried my bag for a day yesterday too which was actually a massive treat I can’t even begin to explain it. Tea break Tonash has yet to score us any points, but he’s currently ummin and arring about sleeping outside tonight.

The weather so far here in Holland has been ok, albeit a bit windy. France was pretty wet when we left, pretty much writing off a days riding, but we are hoping for a nice warm day tomorrow to continue ticking off these wretched boxes!
