Lima has bagged himself a signature bar via Verde, richly deserved and no doubt this is going to be a sick combo. Here’s the specs; constructed from only the finest 4130 chromoly, multi butted and heat treated after welding. This provides the maximum in strength and durability. 8.3” high, 28.5” wide, 12 degree back and 2 degree upsweep weighing in at 26oz. These come in Black or Chrome, the Chrome ones being around a fiver more in price.
These look sick from Alienation. The new Felon rim is double walled and constructed from 6069 T6 aluminium, which is 30% stronger than the 6061 usually used in most other rims. 4D technology ensures minimal spoke bending as the holes drilled follow the path of the spoke. This gives the whole set up greater stability and durability. They weigh in at 410g, and are available in multiple colours.
Martinez pivotal seat
This is the super popular Beacon seat from United and Corey Martinez. Pivotal set up as standard now with a suede style cover with a bit of meat on the bones. Really cool embossed logo on the cover too, which is subtle. Nice bit of padding on here,
so not so slimline, which makes
it a solid all-round seat.
The Trans Red colourway can never get old, and these Motorcade bars are rad from Bicycle Union. They are 8.7” high and 28.5” wide, with a 10.5 back and 1.5 degree up sweep. 11 butted and weighing in at 1.7 lbs. Union’s experience in the game tells you these things are solid.
We’ve featured the SVS tyre before from Duo, and they got a huge thumbs up from us. A great affordable tyre, from one of the best brands out there, that are now available with coloured walls. We got our hands on the Blue wall’s, which look sick, but they also come in Red, White, Purple and good old Black. The key feature on these is that they only recommend 60psi. To be fair, do we really need much more?
I think these are my favourite Stereo product to date. These tyres ooze German efficiency and design. Designed in Stuttgart the Humbucker is a 2.3 high pressure tyre, so if you want 100psi, no worries here. The directional tread looks grippy and suited to most riding environments. They’re available in both steel beed and folding options. With a few wall colours to suite too, White, Dark Red or Black.
We are always a sucker for a great looking sprocket, and this Neutra beast from Verde is just that. CNC machined from 7075 aluminium, 6 spoke design and light as a feather. Comes with your 19mm and 22mm adapters and is available in Aodised Red too.
Microlite Spanish BB
I think the Proper Microlite Spanish bottom bracket kit has to be one of the finest looking on the market. This thing makes your bike look expensive. Mainly due to the awesome CNC machined shims that accompany the set. Ours came through in Purple, but there’s also a bunch of other anodised colours to match your set up. Well crafted and engineered bearings make this a perfect aftermarket BB replacement. Available in 19mm and 22mm.
Paul Langlands grip
These are without doubt as comfy as they look. When I first saw them on the desk I knew they’d be nice, and I wasn’t wrong. Super tacky rubber, ensure a good grip of the bars. These have been designed by Paul Langlands, who’s very keen on trails so no doubt a lot of his experiences there went into the final designs of these grips. Available in a wide range of colours, and come with a pair of nylon bung style end plugs.
Here are the Jerry Vandervalk signature Surefire bars from Tempered. These are full heat treated, 13 butted 4130 chromo, and 27.5” wide, 8.5” high with a 12 degree back and 2 degree up sweep. They’re available in Matt Black and this slick Matt Khaki Green colour.
