So after the kick-off gig at Rampworx we stayed in Liverpool and took in the DUB Jam. Was a good day cruising around the city with 150+ riders. Some good stuff went down with Lacey, Neyer, Ben Lewis, Bengo, Shaun Hadlington, our guy Tony Malouf, Millsy and Northern John all entertaining the crowds and police helicopters.
Highlights of the day included, an ice cream van and Northern John inventing a new game called ‘Dog Egg Roulette’ – it involves running over a big dog shit with your front wheel, standing your bike upside-down and spinning the wheel as hard as you can. The dog egg turns to a blur and a brave contestant then has to grab the spinning wheel with their hand, stopping the wheel and hopefully not landing on the ‘dog egg’. There were some close calls in a heated match but eventually an unlucky Millsy’s gf ‘caught the egg’.
After that Nailz unsuccessfully tried a noz for 4 hours then we headed to Southport skatepark to tick off some riding challenges – we had a good session with NJ, but the sub 6-foot transitions meant that, going into the 2nd day, the BSD R2G book is still tick free!
Now we’re off to Warrington to pick-up Mike Taylor who had to leave the trip yesterday due to his community service commitments.

…he’s better at tyre rides than his girlfriend is a ‘dog egg roulette…
