Established in 1986 and based in Long Beach, California, the Primo BMX Supply Co. is a maker of high quality BMX parts and accessories. Since its launch, Primo has pioneered much of the street and park BMX parts in use today, with many innovative and durable designs.
Currently available in the Primo range of parts are stems, sprockets, rims, pegs, grips, hub guards, cranks, tyres, hubs, posts and seats. There is also a selection of complete wheels, including the black ‘Freemix’, featuring a freecoaster hub, and the ‘N4FL Rasta’ front and ‘Remix Rasta’ rear with red, green, and yellow forged spokes. All models feature Primo’s extra-durable double-walled ‘VS’ rim.
Signature products from Primo include the ‘Rebar’, Craig Passero’s signature bar, made from heat-treated straight gauge chromoly for extra durability, and available in either black or chrome, Bobby Simmons’ full CNC-machined sprocket, available with 22mm spline drive or with standard spacers, and the ‘Aneyerlator’, Tony Neyer’s full CNC-machined stem.
Apart from Passero, Neyer and Simmons, the company has a long list of team riders – some of the standout names include Andrew Castaneda, Anthony ‘Boy’ Flores, Chris Brown, Jackson Ratima, JJ Palmere, Matty Long, Raul Ruiz, Sam Lowe, Sean Ricany, Shawn Mcintosh and Ty Morrow. Also on the team are Brits Alex Kennedy, Ben Hennon, Ben Wallace, Dan Lacey, Mark Love and Sebastian Keep.
