A large portion of Verde’s day one consisted of a drive up to beautiful Redcar. Along the way, we stopped at the Middlesbrough skatepark, which was an absolute madhouse. We probably completed half a dozen challenges there and may or may not have injured several children in a wild stampede for a free case of Monster. Now that we’re in Redcar we’ve been continuing to check off challenges left and right. . . some of them cold, some of them awkward, but all of them completed. We also rode an amazing spot that none of us had ever seen before, so that’s always nice. At dinner we tried to sort out a plan for tomorrow, but we failed. Whatever does end up happening, I’m sure it will be interesting.
