Demolition Parts have one of the best teams out there. A stacked list of heavy-hitters, including Dennis Enarson, Kevin Peraza, Kris Fox and Tyler Fernengel. Their team may be quite varied but their products all have one thing in common – strength. Some of their offerings are backed by lifetime warranties… And just look at who’s on their team! The paces these guys put their parts through are proof enough that they’re dependable products. We often hear riders saying something like, “if it’s good enough for [insert name here] then it’s good enough for me!"
Here we have the Demolition Paradise stem, part of the Tyler Fernengel signature line of products. Why is this in the 100? Two reasons...
“It’s obviously super strong, but it’s not big and ugly – quite the opposite."
One: Tyler Fernengel has a habit of doing mad things like dropping off roofs onto rails and throwing truck drivers into football stadiums. Yes, those are bizarre words, but basically they mean the stem will take a hell of a thrashing. The impact the stem faces when you do a drop, especially after a 360 or after coming off a roof into a grind (seriously, mental) is huge.
Two: we love the design. Simple as. It’s got a classic top load shape, not too beefy but definitely beefy enough. Some subtle cutouts give it good character, those twin side notches have almost a race or motocross style to them. Combined with the script logo across the clamp plate, it’s a classy – but tough – looking stem.
The guys at Demolition paired with Tyler Fernengel nailed it with the Paradise stem. Taking Tyler’s ‘SEND IT’ attitude to big gnarly riding into account, it’s obviously super strong, but it’s not big and ugly – quite the opposite. This balance isn’t always achieved in BMX parts but the Demolition Paradise stem strikes it just right. A winner.
