Robbo (real name Thomas Robinson) is part of the Pro team at Mutiny Bikes. His latest signature frame for the brand is the ‘Villij’ with 100% 4130 Chromoly Sanko tube set, and features including tapered top tube, seat tube and seat stays, heat-treated dropouts, head tube and BB, and welded chainstay brake lugs. He is also sponsored by Hideout and Bicycle Union.
Born on 10th June 1988, Robbo grew up in Loughborough in the Midlands, and is still based in the area to this day. He has been riding for more than half his life, and most of that time has been spent in the woods – he is the man behind the infamous Villij trails, which have some large jumps and a tight tech section.
Robbo is a trail warrior, shredding everything his wheels hit with speed and precision as he flows around. Robbo also has his own shop in Loughborough selling BMX and skateboard equipment, called The Kore Store. Opened in 2013, the first promo from the shop, filmed and edited by Tom Cambridge, showcased some of the local talent and the hard work put in at the shop and at Villij, and was unusual in that it featured both skating and BMX.
