RideUKBMX is the portal for younger riders new to the game. Our Basics mag we produce once a year is always popular and we strive to engage with the next generation of BMXers, show them the way and then watch them create their own culture and scene within our glorious sport! That’s my story anyway, RideUKBMX Mag back in 1996 was my first glimpse at this amazing world and I’m proud to say it’s now my job.
Anyway, you get the picture. Today’s brief was really simple. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of youngsters have opened up brand new complete bikes this Christmas, so why don’t we get one of the UK’s top PROs, and easily the most annoying to give them a step by step guide to the old classic. A double peg. S&M’s Fathead was the man for the job. We gave him said brief, but nothing is ever simple with him is it! Here’s what happened….
