This is an all-new tyre from The Shadow Conspiracy – designed by Ryan Sher to be exact. Let’s see what he has to say about it; “I designed the tyre to be able to handle up to 110psi, but I like to ride with less tyre pressure than most people, around 60psi to be exact. With that being the case, I would get a lot of pinch flats with a standard tyre. During design, we researched a relief system, or ‘breaker’ to help absorb the impact of a hard landing or hang-up” – well, to do this, they added a band around the sidewall to thicken it in the right place, it features a folding aramid band so it’s lighter than a traditional tyre, and the tread pattern is suitable for any riding surface, be it trails, street, or parks. A true all-round tyre; tested, proven by Shadow’s pros, and rider-designed with good use of technology. What more could you want?
