Hi, thought you'd like to take a look at Ilegal Bike Company? on the RIDE website. Here’s word from Ilegal’s main man, Nuno Milhinos – “We are working on Ilegal to do a good job, make parts lighter, beauty, simple, and strong. We have our ideas and don’t want to copy anybody, just think, try making them beautiful, and hoping that the riders like it” – seems fair enough to me. Ilegal is a brand new company from Portugal, and I’m liking the style so far. They will be making frames, bars, and a few more parts in the near future – and here is the frame. It comes in three sizes (20.4, 20.7, and 21 inch), all with a 14 inch back end, machined headtube, Spanish bottom bracket, lugs on seatstays (which are slimmer than the chainstays), removable gyro tabs, and a very clean look with a low 5.3lb weight. Ours came in neon green, which is certainly different, and very bright. All in all, this is a clean, tidy, and very well made frame from a fresh new company. Trabalho bom, Nuno!
