Kriss Kyle now on FUSE Protection!

We’ve just had some BREAKING NEWS regarding one of the biggest names in BMX at the moment. Drum roll please…

Yep, you guessed it! Kriss Kyle is now riding for Fuse Protection and he seems stoked on the new hook-up, check out a few words from Kriss below and some incredible photos shot by Scott Marceau from his recent trip to LA.

Hey Kriss, massive congrats on the Fuse gig. They make some really good stuff, how did this come about?

Thanks man, stoked to be part of the team. I guess Dave Paterson at FUSE got speaking to Grant at BSD and asked if I would be interested in joining the team. Grant hit me up and of course I said yes. I’ve been riding FUSE products for years now, so it was an honour!

Without trying to jinx you here, have you sustained any big injuries while riding?

I have been really lucky to be honest. Probably the worst thing I have done is torn ligaments in my right ankle. Wasn’t very nice.

Which of the Fuse range are you looking forward to using the most and why?

The gloves. I honestly think there is no better glove out there for riding. It’s nice and thin so you can still feel the grips. They also last for ages too!

You’re well known for always wearing a helmet, how important has this been FOR you over the years?

There is nothing more important than wearing a helmet. I’ve hit my head more than a few times over the last few years and I’ve been lucky to have been wearing my helmet when I have.

Tell us more about the FUSE helmet you are riding at the moment? How does it feel?

I’m wearing a sample of the new super light ECTO helmet, which will be out in a few months. It feels awesome, fits real well, is super lightweight, looks good and feels good. Can’t really get much better to be honest.

Anything in the works signature wise with FUSE?

Yes I’m going to be working on a signature glove later in the year as well as some other projects. So stoked to get this opportunity. I have a few ideas so hopefully they turn out cool and people are into them.

What are your plans for 2015?

Just ride and travel as much as I can. Have a blast while doing so and continue living this dream!!

Any comps or trips in the pipeline?

Yes I’m currently in LA for three weeks. It’s great to get away from all this rain and ride some rad spots and some awesome parks with some sick people. Also be heading to Simple Session this year so that should be a blast! A few more things in the pipeline too with BSD and a big project with Red Bull.

Any shout outs or thanks?

Massive thanks to FUSE, BSD, Nike, Red Bull, Source BMX and Chick at Unit 23. Everyone that helps make my dreams come true.
