Mutiny Sinister Frame
Whereas Mutiny’s Eden is probably more suited to trails, what with its Reynolds 520 construction, simple back end, and lighter weight, the Sinister is a tougher frame if anything – after all, it was designed by Joe Simon. Construction is taken care of with full 4130 cromoly tubing throughout, an open-ended gusset underneath the downtube, an oval wishbone behind the bottom bracket, a machined out headtube for an internal headset, the bottom bracket is mid-size (taking standard R12 bearings), and the dropouts are tiny in profile. This model comes in two toptube lengths, in 20.5 or 21 inch, with a 14 inch back end, and 11.5 inch bottom bracket height. Also new for 2006 comes new colours (this one in navy blue) and new Sinister wraparound downtube graphics, which look great. Moreover, the new Joe Simon Sinister is built to last.
