Mutiny Eden Frame
This company is definitely on the up and up: new riders, new owners, and of course, Morgan Wade is going absolutely nuts on Mutiny right now – everyone seems to want a piece. And for good reason too – the frames are excellent, and they have the complete package; good riders, good company ethos, good product. The new 2006 Eden frame you see here is a mild warming-over of previous Edens, and it’s an impressive frame. Unlike regular cromoly frames, the Eden is made from Reynolds 520, a different form of cromoly and indeed a better quality tubeset, and this one’s butted to make it lighter and stronger in the right places. The back end is made up of straight stays for a plain back end, brake lugs are underneath the seatstays, dropouts are 5mm and very small, and there’s a small gusset underneath the downtube. Headtube is milled for a hiddenset, and this one came with a Euro bottom bracket. The Eden comes in either 21 or 20.5 inch toptubes, all with a slammed 14.25 inch back end, and construction is high quality throughout. With frames as good as this, it should come as no surprise how well Mutiny are doing right now.
