Chris King Hubs
If running the very finest products money can buy tickles your fancy and floats your boat, then perhaps Chris King is hand-building a set of hubs for you right now. Apparently, according to the PR here, Chris “used to machine bits of metal that went inside people and he has the same attitude to bits going on bikes.” Hmm. The rear hub has a 72 position pawl system which is so much smoother than a regular cassette system it’s nuts – the engagement is positive, direct, and picks up quicker than ever. It’s buttery smooth… as is the front hub – sealed bearings, allen-key axle studs, low-flange, soooo nice. A polished finish completes the picture. How much? If you need to ask… etc.
