We just got word that Vans UK team manager Jon Taylor along with Matt Priest, Levi Rogers, Phil Aller, Zack Williams, Kym Grosser and filmer Marcus Wilke are currently in Lyon, France. After FISE they hit up Peynier trails on the way to Marsielle for a few days. Photographer for the UK Steve Bancroft got injured and Daniel Benson is now out there taking his place.
This morning I woke up early and navigated my way through the horrific London transport system to Gatwick Airport, my destination, the FISE contest in Montpellier, France. My filming partner Lee Turner chose to drive up in a car from Bournemouth with Luke Marchant and Tony Watkinson, picking up Mark Webb on the way.
