Vintage T-shirt Book…

There are so many BMX clothing companies, I mean T-shirt companies out right now...They keep so many little scenes alive In the UK... 5710, Segment, Aversion and Two & 8 are just a few who bring out their own stuff as often as they can by taking influence from their surroundings...
That's a pretty random intro but it's the reason for this post.. Our new ad manager Gunner got a late Christmas present this month, The Vintage T-Shirt book. It's full of (guess what!) T-shirts from the 70's and 80's which means iconic film designs, bands like Bowie, Public Enemy, Blondie, and also skateboarding ones. But the best section is the BMX one... Shirts that you see in old pictures of Nicole Kidman and crazy old-school loons are in here and it's a good explanation of BMX in it's beginnings. Not sure how well they would go down today but a few companies are pumping out retro shirts. Inspiration?
