Rob Castle on Metal Bikes…

Southampton rider Rob Castle is now riding for Metal Bikes (currently offline!). It seems a drunken combination of Ross and Mark Tanner signed him up. I don't know much about Rob so I sent over a few questions for him to answer...

Who are you?
...Rob castle, live in southampton hampshire, drink rum.....

What sort of rider are you?
I try to be evenly rounded as possible and ride most things.

How’s Southampton influenced your riding?
....... haha has it??, nah its ok really,the bars and people i hang out and have grown up with influence most the things that go on, but in general southamptons pretty cool theres few things to ride but i can think of worse.theres stuff within 20 miles or so which is good so mainly hit those spots.

How did the whole Metal thing come around?
.......i guess the tanners (mark/ross) put some names across to ian and then that was that.

Who do you ride with locally?
i ride with friends ive grown up with , mike netley,barclay and my brother then always hang out with the boys at winchester and bournemouth so i guess local is a farse distance for me.

Where do you want to go that you haven’t been already?
i really wanna make it to kentucky and ohio to see friends also would really like to go to europe/berlin places like that heard it wild as hell.

holy $h*% erm......er

its 7.00pm and im feeling dirty and hungover and just got home from a weekend where me barclay and mark tanner went to visit his brother ross in hackney.with me i took: pair of dirty socks,1x tattoo gun, 1x bottle of powerade and same clothes as friday night. i park in a space next to ross's flat which isnt his and piss off the neighbours,nice start,then go ride for 20 mins resulting in me getting a punchture and like everytime this happens first thing in mind?Drink?.After 3 votes the decision is made we go to the off licence get rum,vodka and beer and see if we can resist temptations of finding the tattoo gun. Not even into the first rum and the pact is made everyone in the room has to have love and hate on each foot with a heart on their big toe.......it F*%"$ng killed.whilst drinking and laughing alot at barclay screaming i find out both mark and ross have never tattoo'd anything before and decide they should try it...........i now have a big bottle of rum on one,and a pint on the other foot and D.B.T. (death before thirty) ross insisted i had,ross has a diamond on his toe and a anchor on his ankle.everyone had stupid shit done...the weekend was nuts and we hadnt left yet..... Then the night was wild as shit........ and i also found out i like german girls.............hackneys F*c$%d! so messed up!
