Red Bull Quartermaster with Bas Keep is BACK!

Man… Have we got some amazing news for you!
Remember the cover of Issue #181 when Bas Keep blasted into the stratosphere for the Red Bull Quartermaster project? You know… The cover-shot that won Bas the ‘Best Cover of 2013′ at our Ride UK BMX Reader Awards?

Well… Here’s the big news….

SEBASTIAN KEEP LEADS STELLAR CREW AS HE RETURNS TO WALES TO TAKE ON BIGGEST EVER DIRT QUARTER!

Sebastian Keep rode one of the biggest dirt quarter pipes ever built at the Revolution Bike Park in Llanygynog, Wales. This year he is back with 11 other riders to take their riding to take on a new challenge.

Seb has built and ridden one of the biggest dirt quarter pipes ever made, reaching heights of more than 45 feet – This September he is returning to Wales, to a new course, built to push him to new limits and challenge him and eleven other riders like never before.

And you have the chance to join them! (Read below)

Towering at twice the height of a double decker bus and taking around four months to complete in late 2013, the idea to build the quarter pipe came to Sebastian around five years ago when he approached Red Bull with a sketch drawn on a piece of paper. This year, he has added new features and invited some of the best riders on the planet to come down and ride the Quarter with him.

Kriss Kyle, Daniel Sandoval, Anthony Napolitan, Morgan Wade, Tommy Dugan, Kye Forte, Ruben Alcantara, Sergio Layos, Matt Roe, Corey Bohan and Mike ‘Hucker’ Clark will all join Bas to ride the Quarter between the 1st and 5th September.

We’re giving people the chance to come down and witness the action first hand on Thursday, 4th September.

For details of how to be in with the chance to bring you and a friend along to what is sure to be one of the events of the year, head to redbull.co.uk/quartermaster and enter the competition.

We suggest that you re-watch the Quartermaster video from last year just so you can be reminded of the monstrous size of this beast! I really can’t wait to see the huge list of pro’s above hit this thing, can’t even imagine what’s going to go down.
