Fantastic news for people of Warrington and for the rest of the country to be perfectly honest! Ramp 1 Indoor Skatepark is due to open on the 16th of March and it’s up there as a contender to be one of the biggest indoor parks in the UK. The place is absolutely massive! It’s got 7 different sections:

1. Bowl – 8ft at deepest point.
2. Beginners and intermediates with box sections and rails.
3. High ramps, tunnel and roll in ramps from decks
4. Street plaza section – huge flow section with step up and jump boxes, multi stage half pipe, huge street section with marble planters, stairs, rails, sub boxes and pole jam.
5. Air bag and trick analysis area (this area is for riders to practice big air tricks safely, the air bag measures 7m x 7m. Nearby, riders can then analyse their jumps and stream all footage to social media sites to share with their friends.
6. Under 10’s ramp area.
7. Mini ramp section.

So you’ll not be stuck for things to ride, that’s for sure! Anyway I’ll shut up about the place and let the pictures do the talking…
