Today we started off by travelling in the opposite direction. We rode left and up towards the Nissan hip. We encountered a little bank wth some benches welded into the floor. A few of us had a peck around and Bancroft again went for the biggest gap there... He asked, "Am I going to make it over that bench?" and proceeded to snap his chain on the bitch run. Thats always an easy way to ruin your buzz...

Shorltly after we rode to the Nissan hip and spent quite a while on one section or another. Steve Debusk double pegged to 180 a scary ledge with a big drop while Nathan did some grind up to hangover toothpicks on a little rail. The rest of us nibbled on the hip for a couple of hours and got really tired in the blistering heat... Kye's feeling a little under the weather.


Hmmm. Home cooked meals...

We then headed out of the center up to the University, there is a street full of steel ledges and wierd obstacles. Yours truly managed to flail a barspin after a million goes, and Nathan did a feebs to 360 gap into a road. Debusk was eyeing up a wheelchair hop when two clowns rode up on mopeds. For some reason Barcelona had given these two men the authority to tell us not to do things and they grilled us, passports out and everything. We played dumb and pretended we didn't know what a ticket was and they must have decided it was more trouble than it was worth and let us go. It was nearly a 300 euro fine we escaped!

We rode on and on and ended up at the University. We pecked about on a little gap over a rail and Steve Debusk rallied the big one a few times. Alex 180 the little gap and Bancroft gapped it too.

We then went out onto the Ramblas for a few street beers and some food, we found a nice all you can eat buffet where Kye had seconds, thirds AND fourths. He can tuck it away... Ricky Feather made it Brits abroad by going out in full England attire. He looked amazing.
